As of Oct. 1, Milos Marjanovic has taken over the role of international procurement director at TEMOT International. With this move, the 48-year-old is now responsible for the development, planning and implementation of an internationally standardized procurement strategy for TEMOT shareholders as well as for supplier management.
Marjanovic has been active in all areas of procurement in the international aftermarket for 22 years, giving him the necessary experience for his new role in TEMOT management, says the organization. Over the course of his career so far, Marjanovic has worked in procurement and product management as well as in logistics, among other areas, at international companies.
Marjanovic started his career as a manager for spare parts at Auto Nena Serbia, where he advanced to become commercial director. He switched to Meteor in this same function and was promoted to head of procurement and product management. Following the takeover of Meteor by Trost Fahrzeugteile in 2008, he worked in the Stuttgart headquarters of the parts dealer, which is now part of the WM SE group, before moving to TEMOT as team leader strategic procurement and Trost Central & Eastern Europe Central Procurement.
“Milos Marjanovic is an asset to our team,” said Fotios Katsardis, president and CEO of TEMOT International. “The aftermarket is in motion and the internationalization of the business is advancing. A global procurement strategy and good supplier relationships are indispensable for sustainable business development and the future of our group. With his refined sense for strategic topics, Milos Marjanovic is the right man at the right time in the position of international procurement director.”
